Get the full reading →BaZi (八字), the "Four Pillars of Destiny," is a classical Chinese system that maps the moment of your birth onto four pairs of characters — one each for the year, month, day and hour. Each pillar has a heavenly stem and an earthly branch, drawn from the ten stems and twelve branches of the old almanac. Together they form a portrait of your natural temperament, drawn in the language of the five elements.
The heavenly stem of your day pillar is your day master — the element that stands for you. Every other character in the chart relates to it through one of the ten gods: patterns like Companion, Output, Steady Wealth or Authority. These are read as tendencies and talents to reflect on, never as fixed fate.
Sōngyǐn treats your chart as a mirror for self-understanding, grounded in orthodox Ziping tradition. It does not tell fortunes or predict what will happen. It offers themes, rhythms and prompts — and it always shows how it reasoned, so you can weigh it with your own judgment.
